Viceroys are nobility from the Old World who sponsor adventurers on risky expeditions in search of Artifacts, Trinkets, and other treasures from the perilous wilds outside the Capital City. Viceroys jostle for each other for influence and Royal Favor, putting their massive treasuries at risk to claim the lion’s share of the massive riches being discovered in New Cambria. Some turn to even more cutthroat ways to earn, including hiring bands of mercenaries to ambush and loot the expeditions of their rivals, or hoarding critical resources used to create the weapons and equipment needed to take on the monsters that inhabit the world.

Status

Viceroys gain their status via the following ways:

Abilities

Viceroys have the ability to do the following:

Guild Chest

Viceroys provide the Energy Orbs, gold, rare items and weapons needed to dominate the Royal Favor point leaderboards to their guild members. All members can deposit items into the Guild Chest. Regular members can only withdraw up to 6 energy orbs per day from the guild chest. Energy Orbs are un-tradeable. Captains (promoted regular members) can withdraw other items (gold, equipment, weapons) from the chest as well. Viceroys can kick members at any time without restriction. Members can also leave at any time without restriction, but must cash in all of their Royal Favor items in inventory or bank before they can leave.

While in the guild, Members split their Royal Favor between themselves and the Viceroy according to their current Split percentage, configured by the Viceroy and negotiated with the player.

Slots

Slots are essentially a way for Viceroys with multiple charters to delegate them to f2p players to use them. If the Guild has 1 or more free slots, the Viceroy (guild leader) can invite players that are not in a guild and free to play. If the player gets kicked, or decides to leave the guild, they revert back to free to play status and are limited in gameplay until they buy their own charter, or join another guild.

Players that purchase their own charter can be invited into the Guild without taking up a Charter Slot. In this case, they are sharing their Royal Favor earnings with the Viceroy in exchange for a steady stream of Energy Orbs.
